- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆We sent an animal in need of rescue to this shelter for help. Well they told us that they would check out the animal and help it recover. I spoke with them and they needed to talk to the supervisors and they would call me back. Well sad to say they did not. I found out that by helping out an animal it meant killing it. I found this out and immediatley starting calling becasue I found a different place in Albuquerque that would actually give the animal medical attention. I called that afternoon and the next morning and probably made over 100 calls to the shelter telling them not to put the animal down. When I finally did get a hold of the shelter they flat out lied to me about the extent of the injury and put her down. I could have saved this animals life and got her back to her newborn litter and this shelter took that option and MURDERED the animal. I am now going to file a complaint with the city!By A Google User, June 08, 2017
